Dobbs adds three double deckers and six new DAFs to fleet
East Sussex-based Pallet-Track member Dobbs Logistics Ltd has expanded its fleet with the addition of three new double-decker trailers and six new DAF lorries.
Dobbs, which is based in St Leonards-on-Sea, in the borough of Hastings, has a modern fleet comprising of a wide range of vehicles, from Sprinter vans to 44 tonne artics.
The three new double-decker trailers were supplied by Trailer Resources Ltd, a trailer company which recently celebrated 25 years in business. Located in Hemel Hempstead, the family-run business has founder and chairman Des O’Connor’s son in the hotseat as managing director and his grandson as sales director.
TRL owns an impressive fleet of more than 2,000 trailers and it is its reputation and customer service which has seen Dobbs Logistics and other Pallet-Track members continue to turn to them as their businesses continues to grow.
The new DAF CF260 18T Space Cabs have been brought in to replace four DAF 18-tonne C and D vehicles and have been supplied by the FG Barnes Group, a family-owned company with a history spanning more than 120 years.
The DAF CF delivers industry-leading fuel economy and is renowned for its reliability, versatility, efficiency and driver comfort.
