Pallet-Track makes London Stock Exchange’s ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’ list for third consecutive year

We are delighted to announce that we have been identified as one of the London Stock Exchange’s ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’ for the third year in a row.

The 2019 report, which was published on Wednesday, celebrates the UK’s fastest-growing and most dynamic businesses, both in terms of revenue growth and performance against sector peers.

Our business has demonstrated year-on-year growth since it was founded in 2004 and now handles around 3.5 million pallets per year.

The LSE report is in its sixth edition and Pallet-Track, which has an annual turnover of £96 million and has never lost a single consignment, has now appeared in half of them.

It is our second major accolade in 2019, after being named as the fastest growing company in the Black Country in February’s Black Country Growth Barometer report.

Founder and managing director, Nigel Parkes, said: “This is another fantastic accolade for the business in its 15th anniversary year and is a continuing testament to our team ethos and our people.

“In a tough market, our staff retention remains high and the business continues to grow, both in terms of revenue and network members, which now number close to 90.

“The investment from TPA Capital earlier this year only serves to highlight these successes and continues our commitment to only entering into business arrangements which make economic sense to Pallet-Track’s long-term goals.”

In the report’s foreword, outgoing Prime Minister, Theresa May, said: “Our country has a history of being a great place to grow and start a business – and the innovation, creativity and entrepreneurialism that has always been the key to our success is tangibly demonstrated by the businesses in this report.”
