Part-Time Customer Service Coordinator

Pallet-Track is the UK’s fastest growing provider of palletised freight distribution.

Due to an expanding Customer Service Department a vacancy has arisen for a Part–Time Customer Service Coordinator. The successful candidates must have a proven track record within the customer service industry preferably within a Transport and Distribution environment.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage relationships with key customer accounts
  • Collate data from our Shareholders Members via our internal systems
  • Investigate any discrepancies that may arise from checking information
  • Confirm deliveries to our Shareholder Members
  • Liaise with external customers ensuring the needs of customers are met
  • Respond to customer queries resolving issues when necessary
  • Data inputting
  • Answer the telephone and respond to emails


Skills and Experience Required

  • High standards of Customer Service experience is essential
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
  • Skills in all Microsoft Packages
  • Have a positive, empathetic and customer focused approach to work
  • Manage multiple priorities to ensure that Pallet-Track provides a fair and good service to all internal and external Customers
  • Excellent planning and organising skills
  • Effectively handle contacts at all levels within the business, both internally and externally
  • The ability to problem solve
  • Attention to detail & record information accurately
  • Be able to work as part of a team & also, when necessary work independently & without supervision


Hours of work: 2pm-6pm, Monday-Friday. There will be a requirement to work additional hours to the needs of the business so flexibility is required.

Salary: £9 per hour
